Biig Time

Take Johnny Took from the award-winning festival favourites DMA’s and his brother Matty from rising Aussie alt-rockers Planet and you have a fiery new proposition in the shape of Biig Time. Extending the lineage of classic brother duos, they’ve been fiercely productive together whenever their schedules have allowed, resulting in 100 initial songs which draw on their teenage passions for Brit shoegaze and ’80s US college rock.

They provided a first taste early in the process with ‘It’s You’, but there’s so much more to come as they work on their debut album. Crystalline guitar melodies, insistent, tight-coiled rhythms and massive choruses are their stock-in-trade – expect big things from the new sibling supergroup Biig Time.
